Evaluating the iPad

Nowadays technologies have become extremely popular among people all over the world. For example, the newest trend- an iPad released by Apple is attracting millions, which makes it hard to resist. iPad – is an Internet Tablet, manufactured by Apple. The device was presented at a presentation in San Francisco, Steve Jobs January 27, 2010. Home sales occurred in New York on Fifth Avenue, on April 3, 2010. Apple iPad ”“ is a classic example of MIDs and differs fundamentally from the personal computer. Many analysts attribute Internet tablets to devices post- computers era, which are simpler and clearer to conventional personal computers and may eventually supplant the PC in the IT market.
At the presentation of Internet Tablet Apple iPad 2, Steve Jobs said: “”¦is inseparable from the human sciences – and this assertion has never been true for devices of the post- computer era. Competitors are trying to find the optimal balance in the new models of personal computers. This is not the way that chooses Apple – in fact, the future for post- computer devices is that they are simpler and clearer to the usual PC”.
In the U.S., sales iPad tablet with Wi-Fi began April 3, 2010. Sales of an iPad with Wi-Fi and 3G networks started later – a model appeared on the shelves on April 30, 2010(USA). Opening of international sales of iPad (Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Spain, Switzerland and the UK) were held on May 28, 2010. The company also said it plans to begin sales of the Tablet PC in Austria, Belgium, Hong Kong, Ireland, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand and Singapore in July. The idea of a Tablet PC with touch screen was to offer students the University of Illinois in the contest “What will be the personal computer in 2000”, conducted by Apple Inc. in1988.
Steve Jobs at a conference “All Things Digital” in 2010, conducted by Wall Street Journal, said about the primacy of ideas over a plate of it later emerged the idea of the phone (iPhone). In the first days after the release of iPad, some media and Internet forums criticized the name “iPad”, noting its similarity to the word “pad”, the general name of sanitary napkins.

On April 14, 2010 on the Apple website, it was reported: “Faced with the unexpectedly high demand in the U.S., we are forced to take a tough decision: start iPad sales outside the United States moved for a month – until the end of May. We will announce the price of iPad for different countries, as well as start taking pre-orders outside the U.S. on May 10. We recognize that our foreign customers who are waiting to acquire the iPad, would be upset by this news, but we hope they will calm some reason for the delay – iPad unprecedented success in the U.S.”
Some online publications and online services soon after the tablet started to develop custom applications for iPad, optimized specifically for the versions of their sites. In March 2011 appeared iPad 2, which represents a tablet-shaped device made by Apple Inc. The device was announced on March 2, 2011, in a press conference at the Yerba Buena Center in San Francisco. Technical specifications include wireless networks Wi-Fi 802.11n and Bluetooth 2.1,9.7-inch touch screen, accelerometer, gyroscope and compass. The chip has been identified by Apple as A5, dual-core. Its weight is 607 grams and its thickness is 0.88cm. Battery is for 10 hours of video and 1 month of standby time. It has different versions with spaces 16, 32 and 64 GB. It is 33% thinner than its predecessor, the iPad It also has a front camera (used for video conferences) and a rear camera. Prices remain the same as of the first generation.
