Today, there exists a variety of definitions of marketing. All of them can have some unique, original views on marketing, but it is important to take into consideration various views on marketing in order to word in the definition which reveals the epitome of marketing and its basic characteristics. In this respect, it is possible to refer to various definitions, analyze them define the essence of marketing. For instance, marketing can be defined as the process of interesting potential customers and clients in your products and/or services. Also, marketing can be defined as a social and managerial process by which individuals and groups obtain what they need and what through creating, offering and exchanging products of value with others. Alternatively, marketing can be defined as the process of planning and executing the conception, pricing, promotion, and distribution of ideas, goods, services, organizations and events to create and maintain relationships that will satisfy individual and organizational objectives. Furthermore, marketing can be defined as the ways in which a company encourages people to buy its products by deciding on price, type of customer, and advertising policy. Also marketing can be defined as the commercial functions involved in transferring goods from producer to consumer. On the basis of the aforementioned definitions, it is possible to define marketing as a process of planning and creation of a product and service and the sale of the product to the target customer group on the basis of the analysis of customers needs and interests, on the one hand, and promotion and pricing policy of the organization or individual selling the product or service, on the other hand.
