Is It Ethical or Unethical, You Decide

There  are  a  lot  of  ethical  norms  in  our  life. They  have  their  own  deep historical  roots  from  the  Middle Ages,  times of  warriors,  kings  and  princesses. But, of  course,  they have changed  a  lot. The  understanding  and  attitude  to  this  question  is  very  different nowadays.

So, to understand  something  we  must  firstly  find  what  ethics is. Merriam-Webster’s Collegiate Dictionary defines ethics as fallows: the discipline dealing with what is good and bad and with moral duty and obligation (Ethic). According  to  the  meaning of  the  word  we can see  that  norm  of  ethic  depends  on our  selves. It means  that  what  is  good  for  me  might  be  bad  for  you.  As  a  result, you  could  be  accused  or  misunderstand  in  situation  when  your  moral  differs  from  your opponents.

In  ideal, when  we  say  ethic,  we  equal  this  term  to  with  good,   or  kind,  for  example. This  is  measure  of  humans  actions,  behavior,  goodness. As  it   said, “do unto others as you would have done unto you.” People always   forget  kind,  they  remember  bad  things  better.

That  is  how  our  memory  organized.

It  is  easy  enough  to  understand,  that  ethical norms  are  quite  thing   line  between  good  and  evil,  honesty  and  lie,  because  everybody  do  as  he  wants  in  one  special  moment. There  is  one  check  for  yourself  to  see  who  you  are. Before  doing  something  ask  yourself  only  one  question: “Whom  I  want  to  see  looking  in  the  mirror?” This  will  help  you  to  be  honest  and  attentive  to  your  actions. All  in   all,  ethical  norms  are  your  own  system  of  values  and  it  must  stay  constant.

As  many  scientists  say,  ethic  norms  and  moral  are  laws  of  nature and  if  human  breaks  them  he  is  influenced  by  degradation.

Modern  philosopher,  Francis Fukuyama says,  that  moral  is  a  social  capital,  the  factor ,which  shows  a  situation  in  society. Ancient  philosopher Aristotle  use  ethic  to  find  an  answer  on  a  question: “What  must  we  do?” During  humans evolution philosophers  tried  to  give  an  exact  notion,  however,  it  was  hard  to  do  because  in  different   theories  were  given  indefinite  and  contradictory  interpretations.

Ethic  learns  individual  moral  sides  and  moral  in  global  meaning. However,  it  was not  established  like  any  other  science, it  appeared  because  of  humans  interests,  desire  for  satisfy  and  answer  some  deep  and  private  questions. Moral  does not appear  in  some  definite  moment,  it  is  developing  through  all  path  of  evolution. In  all  times  and  everywhere  wishes  and  abilities  of  a  man  were  close  connected  with  social  moral,  ethical  norms.
