I’ve been thinking much about what you told me several days ago. Your words that sometimes it is difficult for you to make decisions and that you do not know how to behave impressed me. I started to compare us and I understood that I solve these problems easier because I always address the Bible. You do not have a support in your life because you do not have God in your life. Don’t you agree that life without God is bereft of any sense and significance? All over the world different people have different religions and consequently different gods, but I am absolutely sure that the only way to God is Christ.
The life of Jesus Christ can be an example for everybody. “For I have given you an example, that ye should do as I have done to you” (John 13: 15.). With his life and his deeds he showed how to lead a worthy life. I say that he is the only way to God because he taught people to love the God and to accept the omnipotence of God. He proved by his own deeds that in any situations a person should display kindness and benevolence. “But I tell you not to resist an evildoer. On the contrary, whoever slaps you on the right cheek, turn the other to him as well” (Matthew 5:39).
If you read the Ten Commandments that were left to us by God, you will understand that these are the eternal moral verities, which you have heard thousands of times. They call upon us not to kill, not to steal, not to have adulteries, not to bear false witness against our neighborhood, to respect our parents (Exodus 20:2”“17). Aren’t these the common moral rules that are known to everybody? However, they come from the Bible, the Holy Book of all the Christians. If you follow all the Ten Commandments, if you read the Scripture and accept Jesus Christ as the son of the God, then you are a Christian and then your life fills with sense and guidance. “And now, my beloved brethren, I know by this that unless a man shall endure to the end, in following the example of the Son of the living God, he cannot be saved” (2 Ne. 31: 16).
I hope, you will think about my words and Jesus Christ will become an example for you. Owing to the Scripture you will be able to find answers to the most difficult questions in your life and you will understand that God is life and the Christ is the only way to God.
