The investigation of crimes is impossible without the assistance of professionals who can analyze and study in details the scene of a crime, collect and study evidences which can be found in the scene of the crime. In this respect, the crime scene evidence investigators turn out to be of the utmost importance because they are able to collect all technical evidence in the crime scene and get as much information about the crime committed as possible. At the same time, it is important to lay emphasis on the fact that the current system actually does not provide crime scene evidence investigators to conduct the full study of evidences they collect since they do not always have access to crime labs. As a result, they cannot continue the study of the evidences that naturally decreases the effectiveness of the entire process of investigation.

In such a situation, if crime scene evidence investigators are admitted to crime labs they would close the gap between the crime scene and the analysis of evidences they collect. As a result, they would better understand the crime because they saw a crime scene and researched evidences. Hence, they gather and process all the information without any risk of the appearance of communication gaps or some misunderstandings.

At the same time, to be effective in the crime scene and crime lab, crime scene evidence investigators should be highly-qualified professionals who have extensive knowledge in the field of criminology. Consequently, they need special education which creates the basis for their work in the crime scene. On the other hand, they need to train regularly because the technological progress opens larger opportunities for the study and analysis of evidences in the crime scene. Hence, without training, crime scene evidence investigators cannot apply new technologies effectively. In addition, training contributes to the development of professional skills and abilities of crime scene evidence investigators that increase their efficiency and improves the quality of investigation.

Thus, it is possible to conclude that crime scene evidence investigators should be admitted to crime labs to conduct the investigation from the crime scene till the end of the evidence analysis. In addition, they need regular training to maintain their high qualification.
